Founded in 1948, it is part of the most active Alliances in the global network. The Alliance Française of Medellín has 2 offices within the city – in the Center and in el Poblado, in order to provide greater well-being to both our students and the general public who wish to begin learning French and getting to know Francophone culture.

Mission
The French Alliance of Medellin promotes the dissemination of the French language and knowledge of French, Francophone and Colombian culture through the constant offering of courses and thematic offers, a permanent cultural agenda, exchange processes, international cooperation and student mobility with modern, safe and relevant environments for training.
Vision
By 2024, the Alliance Française de Medellín will maintain its leadership in French language teaching and in the dissemination of French and Francophone cultures, through an innovative and diversified offering. The Alliance Française aims to strengthen its social role in the city by developing its French-for-all programmes and its cultural offering in connection with local actors and events.
