Kompanio

Kompanio is a cultural corporation and collective based in Commune 10 of Medellín that promotes art and culture as tools for social transformation, memory building, and community strengthening. Since 2020, it has developed creative, pedagogical, and communicative processes that highlight artists, groups, spaces, and cultural expressions from the region.

Among its most notable initiatives are the educational booklet "Kolcha and Kris," created from the 10th floor, the digital magazine "Kultur," the Children's Scenic Arts Festival—which promotes the connection between children and local art—and the Renaissance Culture Festival, a space that celebrates the diversity and vitality of art in the community. In addition, Kompanio has supported various theaters in the implementation and strengthening of their projects, contributing to the development of a community performing arts network.

Currently, she leads the project Antología Escénica: Memoria del Arte Vivo (Scenic Anthology: Memory of Living Art), a multi-format initiative that collects and preserves the legacy of the spaces, artists, and expressions that have shaped the cultural history of Comuna 10.
