Raíces is the El Tesoro crafts fair that celebrates cultural heritage and work
Handmade in partnership with the Creando Artes y Oficios Foundation. This edition features 56
Exhibitors: 50 from Colombia, 4 from Mexico, 1 from Guatemala and 1 from Ecuador, on a tour
through ancestral techniques, contemporary design, and stories that keep crafts alive
Traditional.
From August 6th to 17th at:
• Fountain Square
• Plaza Cinemas
• North Corridor
What will you find at the Fair?
More than a fair, a cultural experience.
You will be able to discover pieces made of wood, ceramics, clay, textiles, iraca palm, and cane.
arrow, wool, filigree, goldsmithing, stained glass, leather and natural fibers, created by artisans
coming from the Andean, Caribbean, Pacific and Amazonian regions of Colombia.
The exhibition brings together creators from Antioquia, Bolívar, Cauca, Cundinamarca, Huila, Magdalena,
Nariño, Santander, Sucre and Amazonas, who will share the knowledge they have inherited from
generation after generation.
